Silent Auction–Reflecting on Art and Culture!

Filed under: General — PRCA @ 2:53 pm

The PRCA is throwing its 4th Annual Silent Auction—an event designed to help the non-profit that is making such a big difference to the region.

This year’s event is being held at Old #1 Southside on Thursday, November 8th, 2007 and will feature live jazz, free hors d’oeuvres and chocolate, and a cash bar. The event gets started at 6:30pm with the bidding ending at 8:30.

And new this year is Framed Mirrors! PRCA artists have been busy taking beautifully framed mirrors designed and built by Mike Lusk. He is wood worker from Coon Valley Wisconsin. The artists have turned them into functional and artistic mirrors—some whimsical, some elegant, all unique—
Live music at the silent auction will be provided by a group of UMM jazz musicians. Delectable hors d’oeuvres and chocolates will be provided and a cash bar will be open featuring a variety of delicious drinks. People are encouraged to “dress to impress” for an evening of high times and elegance.

All proceeds from the event make it possible for the PRCA to continue its efforts to support the creativity of everyone while weaving arts and culture into the fabric of the community. The PRCA has been serving the region since April, 2002, and looks forward to continued excellence and growth thanks to the support of the community.

Tickets for the Silent Auction will be available at the door the night of the event. Or stop in at the PRCA, 630 Atlantic Avenue in Morris.
