Clarice Dieter from Chokio, and Della Conroy from Hancock, team up for a spectacular one-day sale at the Prairie Renaissance Cultural Center on Thursday November 29th. 
Both artists have all new work resulting from their recent studies and workshops.  Clarice has taken a class from Turid Helle Fatland of Norway where she learned a newly developed technique of glazing.  Conroy attended a workshop by Calvin deRuyter from Minneapolis using experimental techniques in watercolor. 
Conroy and Dieter are excited to talk about their new work, and will be available Thursday Nov. 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at PRCA located at 630 Atlantic in Morris.
This is your opportunity to visit one on one with the artists, view their new art, enjoy refreshments and purchase art for yourself or as a gift.

Rosemaling exhibit on display now until December 15, 2007.

Clarice has been rosemaling for 30 years, painting mostly in the
Telemark style until a few years ago when she started studying the Os
style. Recently she took a class from Turid Helle Fatland of Norway who taught her newly developed technique of glazing the bowls instead of the usual solid background. This technique is new to all rosemalers and is very exciting. Not only is the glazing new, but it has a fresh look at the Telemark rosemaling. The main focus of the exhibit will be on the bowls, but will also include Os and Telemark. Stop in to view the rosemaling, visit with the artist and enjoy refreshments.
